Terrance (Tony) Connerton – From Dreamer to Instructor

I became a flight instructor because I believe aviation changes lives. Learning to fly taught me confidence, discipline, and freedom—and I’m honored to pass that experience on to my students. I take a mentorship approach to instruction. My goal is to help you become the kind of pilot others look up to.

My Journey:

• Started lessons at , soloed x days later.”]

• A native of the United Kingdom

• 2000 flight hours

• Favorite part of instructing: seeing a student’s first solo smile

• United States Coast Guard Licensed Marine Captain

Whether you’re working toward a private certificate or preparing for a professional aviation career, I offer structured, effective training with a strong foundation in aeronautical decision-making.

Certifications:

• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)

• CFI, CFII, MEI

• Part 141 (2 years) & Part 61 Instruction

• Former charter commerical pilot

I’m a 25-year-old flight instructor with over 650 flight hours and a 100% check ride pass rate. I began my flight training in 2017 and graduated from Montana State in 2021. After earning my CFI in 2024, I went on to get my CFII and MEI. I’m passionate about aviation and love sharing the experience of flying with others who aspire to become pilots.
